Task 1: he cost of rice per pound is higher in china because china is the world's largest producer for rice so most likely thats why its cheaper than the United states. Also they have to bring all of the rice from china to the United states so its more expensive here.

5) I have a feeling that it's probably because they both make it different. United States probably uses better and tastier  ingredients but china probably uses products that aren't sweet or tasty. Also because if your product is good people want the good stuff not the no flavor kind.
