Goal : To strengthen the body's core muscles, which include the abdominal, back, shoulder and chest muscles.

Simple Steps to Do a Plank Correctly

1. Start on the Floor

 - Lie face-down on the floor. Put your elbows directly under your shoulders, with your forearms flat on the ground.

 - Keep your feet hip-width apart and your toes on the ground.

2. Lift Your Body

 - Push through your toes and forearms to lift your body off the ground.

 - Your body should be in a straight line from head to heels—don’t let your hips sag or lift too high.

3. Keep Your Core Tight

 - Pull in your stomach muscles, as if pulling your belly button towards your spine. This helps support your back and keeps you stable.

4. Hold Steady and Breathe

 - Look down to keep your neck in line with your body, and take steady breaths.

 - Try to hold this position for 20–30 seconds if you're just starting. You can increase the time as you get stronger.

5. Finish Slowly

 - When you're ready to stop, lower your knees to the ground gently and rest.

These steps should help you do a plank with good form to build core strength safely!

How to Do a Basic Workout Routine Title:

Full-Body Workout for Beginners Objective: To improve strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Materials Needed: Comfortable workout clothing and shoes Yoga mat (optional) Water bottle Stopwatch or timer Steps: Warm Up (5-10 Minutes) Begin with a light warm-up to prepare your muscles and get your heart rate up. You can start with jumping jacks, high knees, or a brisk walk. Spend at least 5-10 minutes on this to avoid injuries. Stretching (5 Minutes) After warming up, do some dynamic stretching. Focus on large muscle groups—arms, legs, shoulders, and back. This helps improve flexibility and reduces muscle stiffness. Workout Routine Squats (3 Sets of 12 Repetitions) Stand with feet shoulder-width apart. Bend your knees and lower your body as if sitting in a chair. Push back up through your heels. This works your legs and glutes. Push-Ups (3 Sets of 10 Repetitions) Place your hands shoulder-width apart on the ground. Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the ground, then push back up. This targets the chest, shoulders, and triceps. Plank (Hold for 30 Seconds) Lie face down, then lift your body onto your toes and forearms, keeping a straight line from head to heels. This strengthens your core. Lunges (3 Sets of 12 Repetitions per Leg) Step forward with one leg and lower your hips until both knees are bent at a 90-degree angle. Push back up and switch legs. This works your legs and glutes. Cool Down (5 Minutes) After the workout, cool down by stretching your muscles, focusing on the legs, arms, and back. Hold each stretch for at least 20-30 seconds. Hydrate and Rest Drink water to rehydrate your body, and rest for a few minutes to let your heart rate return to normal. Tips: Maintain proper form to avoid injuries. Gradually increase the intensity or repetitions as you build strength. Stay consistent and track your progress for the best results.
