This book pulls you in and makes you never want to stop reading it. This quote shows really how long this walk is, and how tiring. He says it is only nineteen miles, but walking that is a long way. That shows that the walk is so long that nineteen miles seems short. Also, he says no rest for the wicked. This means that no matter what, they cannot rest or take a break. The walk is so challenging and long. People who rest are the ones who end up getting their "ticket."
