The French and the Spanish were completely different. Based on source 6 the English wanted to be friends with the natives and trade, have fun, and just be friends with them. Although according from source 5 both the Spanish and English wanted them to convert to Christianity but the English didn't care after so long and wanted to be friends, while the Spanish tried to enforce Christianity on the Aztecs and kill some of them. The Aztecs took them as the chosen ones and later found out they are not what they thought and that started problems. The English came to the natives to trade and discover and riches such as the Spanish, but when the English came to the natives they became friends and started partying and enjoyed each other.
