In 1962, the squatters started moving out of the site. It was then arranged in 1964, in time for HDB's second five-year building program in 1965. A few years after developing Toa Payoh, Queen Elizabeth II visited the area in 1972 and 2006. We did the google forums and everything but we did not really interview people as we think that it is difficult to talk to strangers and ask them to help us to do the survey.
