-Klimt's early work was different from the work which made him famous in that it was highly realistic. His later works became more obscure as he drifted into symbolism.

1. Klimt's early work was mainly focused around naturalism and making his art look realistic. Later in his life, he expressed his true nature by adding many more colors and themes to his art that added an erotic and sensual aspect which he is most famous for.
