Great information was shared. I am interested in working on a better introduction video to my students and ongoing check-ins with them. I also love the memory wall and connecting that to the next class to show that I provide the items that I mention at the beginning of class. Lastly, using the survey to display one word that describes how you feel about the class is a quick way to see who you might need to focus on during the term - quick and easy!

Wow, lots of great ideas. I truly feel that having a connection with your students affects a students learning. I want my students to feel that I am working with them to support their journey in learning. I also stress that I don't always have the answers but we can find the answers together.I love the quote "its not quantity but the quality of instruction". That really sits with me as well as each student is unique and students should be free to be their authentic selves in order to reach their full potentenial. I think if we all can live authentically we will learn more from each other and feel supported and safer in all environments. I love the 8 techniques for online learning with examples. I plan on doing a welcome video. I used to do one and then I stopped I am not sure why.

Wow, what a great video embedded with many strategies to include humanized approach in your teaching! I like the 8 elements- especially Liquid syllabus and wisdom wall. I would surely try to incorporate them in my future courses. Bumper videos and Micro lectures helps to understand critical or complex topics. Getting to know you-survey- loved it. We do surveys in our courses but will try to include in person surveys from which I know how to do better or what did I well this term that stood out for learners. -Dhara
