Students will participate in an interactive slideshow in which we put names to phenomenon such as rain, wind, heat, and snow storms. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Learning Objective: </strong></p><p>Students will be able to name by looking at a picture, different kinds of weather patterns and what storm type they are. For example, a heat "storm" is called a "heat wave", while a "snow storm" is called a "blizzard". </p>]]></description>

(A rain coat for rain, a glove for snow, shorts for the summer heat). Students will then show in small groups what they brought, and where this piece of clothing can be found. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Learning Objective: </strong></p><p>Students will be able to demonstrate how temperature affects how people dress in the world.</p>]]></description>
