1. Research method is the tool used in carrying out the research whereas Research Methodology is the justification for using a particular research method. The research methodology, is the theoretical positioning of the research, while research method is the “doing” of the research itself.

2.It allows researches to carry out a hypothesis for their studies and what particular method they should use in their research. They want to have a better understanding since methodology is to understand correct procedures which gives the scientist have a better understanding from the specific topic before selecting methods. Then they can find more suitable method for the data collecting.

3. It depends on what research you are investigating, for example if you wanted to collect large amounts of data you would use a questionnaire however if you want to ask specific questions then you would use an interview.

1. Methodology is positioning / plan and procedure of investigation. research method is the process of doing the research itself/ actual construction of plan.

2. So they can understand their sources in a more efficient and effective way. When discussing methodology before selecting the method of research the eliminate unreliable sources. it makes their research more accurate. Less time consuming and more efficient.

3. Questionnaire would be better method to collect data in the research, it provides a relatively cheap, quick and efficient way of obtaining large amounts of information from a large sample of people. It helps people to stay more anonymous so they can be honest with their answer. They can father than interviews and reach more people faster. People will write their honest opinions because they know their name will not be record, so they can be more accurate and the people would be less nervous as theres no one standing watching their answers and watching them talk about something they may be uncomfortable discussing. So overall, it would give us a better, more honest and more efficient research.

1.Method; Refer to techniques for collecting data such as interviewing, observation, questionnaire. Methodology; refers to theoretical and philosophical approaches and practical considerations that decide your choice of research method

2 Methodological theory helps the investigators to
situate personal and professional perspectives in research following such
reflective and reflexive practices. Can determine the success and overall
quality of there research.

3.Depending on the topic of research. We would favor
questionnaires due to the fact that subjects are more likely to feel that they
can remain anonymous and thus may be more likely to express controversial opinions.
With methods of collecting data we have to consider different cultural
backgrounds and select a data collection method that would suit our targeted subjects.
As well as accurate data can be recorded better through questioners because of
the methods used I the collection stage.
