1.Because for this day, many businesses prepare discounts, activities and special products, which has contributed to many people criticizing that it has lost its original spirit and has become a commercial cecelebration.
2. In Colombia, the day of love and friendship is celebrated on the third Saturday in September.
3. On this date, lovers give each other gifts, dedicate cards, and write letters and messages to express their love.
4. Valentine was a bishop who considered this prohibition unjust and, contrary to the order of the emperor, married couples in secret, among other things to safeguard the sacrament of marriage. Upon being discovered by Caesar, he was imprisoned. In prison, Valentine was ridiculed by his jailer, who challenged him to restore his blind daughter's sight, which Valentines did in the name of God.
