We conect to the world through our senses - see, hear, touch, smell, taste. However, I believe, that we are not limited to those five senses. We have many more but we do not have the words to describe them... As Brene Brown says, we understand our feelings only if we can name them. I think it is just like the senses... I was amazed that all of us chose to relate our names to the sounds of NATURE or MUSIC. Is it because we are part of the nature? Is it in our genes? Is it embeded in us through evolution process?

Through the conversation, I realized that we perceive ourselves very strongly through the roles we play. Truly knowing who we really are is a process that requires an honest look within. Every day is an opportunity to discover something new. Today I learned that a personal name can also represent a color and a melody. Life is colorful!

It's hard for me to delve into things I can't see or touch. It’s also hard to imagine something and I don't like to philosophize. Today I was rushing between the thoughts "what a hell" and "maybe try it"? Today I learned to trust the flow, turn off unnecessary thoughts and give myself the opportunity to know ME more.

Well, among other things (e.g. how to explore the senses that come with MY name), what I learnt today and surprised me the most is what sargassum grass is. Not only did I learn about it, but I also had a dive in it, touched and felt it, so that my knowledge is combined with experience.

Today was all about exploring and getting new insights. I figured how meaningful a dive into yourself is, but I also gained knowledge about this amazing place: the fact that part of it is in Carribbean sea and another part in the Atlantic ocean, the resemblance with Madeira that I visited recently, facts about the magnetic field that influences the island and so many more interesting things. Most of all, I experienced how important learning in nature is.

Each of us in a short time has reflected on the meaning of our own name. We got in touch with ourselves by understanding the emotion, the sound, the colour, the number related to our name, the value of our personality. I had never reflected about it before. I realized that after the gift of life, a person's name is the first gift he or she received. I really appreciate what Carnegie said about names: "the sweetest and most important sound in any language".

Today's meeting made me think about how important it is to understand ourselves. Every day we have so many things to do and when they ask us to talk about ourselves we talk about work or the tasks we do in the family, but we don't talk about how we are, about our being. Sometimes we forget what we feel and what really pleases us. We must learn to listen to ourselves more without being overwhelmed by what our role imposes on us.

What did I learn today? I thought about the meaning of my name. I

don't know why my parents called me cynthia, because it's not a family name, but, evidently, it was written in the stars.

I thought that a name can have a sound and that my name resonates like a sweet melody.

Today I learned about the history of this distant place. I learned the meaning of my name and I discovered its colour and sound. I learned the impact of using positive words to describe a situation. I have, also, realised the importance of focusing on "me" than on my roles and of prioritising the important than the urgent.
