Hypothesis: If a light leaf is compared to a dark leaf, then the dark leaf will be shown more clearly and have more chlorophyll pigments than the light leaf.

We accept our original hypothesis. The dark colored leaf did show one more chlorophyll pigment type (Chlorophyll A) than the light colored leaf when we put our pigment stained chromatography paper into the test tube and tested the pigment types. The dark colored leaf photosynthesized more than the light colored leaf, resulting in more pigment types.

Improving the Results.

If we could improve our experiment results and make them more accurate we would increase the number of pigment drops we placed on the chromatography paper so that the pigment would be seen easier and we would be able to determine the type more accurately.
