Some things that I shared with my peers were the things that make me a college student, such as attending my classes, the connections I've created around campus, completing my assignments on time, my drive for academics, my dreams/goals, and just living/enjoying the freedom of college life. I also shared some surprising things I've noticed so far in my freshman year, like the feeling of responsibility, people living their own lives and being in their own little world, and the differences in ages and maturity levels. But after saying these, I realized that the girls I talked to (just realized we didn't introduce ourselves lol) faced the same surprises as I did; the most common one was that sense of freedom that came with responsibility and adulting.

What I shared in class surrounding what makes me a college student was 1. the determination I have with finishing assignments on time. I rarely procrastinate anymore now that i'm in college. 2. I mentioned how it was hard to rent out a laptop the first couple of weeks while my personal one was getting fixed. 3. I also noted the surprising change of pace when it comes to classes in college. (although it shouldn't have been so surprising considering how college is already more different from high school.) One thing I noticed from my classmates, specifically in my group, was that we all managed to adjust to the college experience pretty swiftly.

firstly we said what makes us a college student is the fact that we are here enrolled and finding ways to keep pushing effort for everything.The thing that mostly stood out to us was the accountability evryone was willing to make for themselves. Each person knows what is the best thing for them, the classes they are going to take and how to organize their time. Also to see how blessed each and everyone of us is to be experiencing different things and be so different and yet try to achieve the same goal of getting our degree. This is important to each one of us and accountabilty takes a big part on that and any methods we use to reach them. one commonality we had was knowing the responsibility we had to ourselves not just to make others proud but for you.

The amount of homework can feel like too much sometimes, and it makes school really stressful. A classmate also talked about feeling the same way, so we had that in common. It shows many of us deal with the same struggles, and it feels better knowing we’re not alone. We can support each other by talking about it and finding ways to make it easier.

In class I shared how I have a lot of appointments and advisors/tutors to meet with, which makes my schedule feel pretty packed at times. Something I realized I have in common with a classmate is all the walking we have to do from one building to another just to make it to our classes or meetings. It can be tiring, but it also keeps us moving and makes the campus feel more connected.

In class I shared how we have a lot more freedom when it comes to choosing our schedules, what time you show up or leave class, walking around whenever you want, etc. But with more freedom comes with more responsibilities such as paying tuition, your own materials, etc. A common thing I had with a classmate was trying to find parking and trying to manage my time with work and classes.

In class, my group and I came to an agreement about what we were going to share. My classmate shared how some classes or teachers sometimes assign things and then don't mention anything about it, like they put it on canvas, they don't put the due date, so it does not show on the calendar, and then you end up getting an unpleasant surprise the day it's due. A lot of my other classmates mentioned that there is also a lot more freedom than we realize.

Me and my classmates shared lot of ides that we had in common but the one that came up the most was about responsibility. Things are very different in college there's not much pressure from professors to complete assignments or to attend class. We are fully responsible for our academic success something that personally wasn't so hard to adapt to in my case just a little surprising.

The thing I noticed being shared between me and my classmates the most was the desire to as good as possible in our classes. Some of us were nervous to start school or were hoping to make good friends or join a club, but everyone that I spoke with all shared the desire to succeed, and I thought that was really cool. It doesn't matter how many friends you have or how many clubs you join, if you cannot do well in your classes then you cannot succeed. Success is at the foundation of everyone's lives here and I think that's a special thing.

In class i shared that it surprises some of us that some teachers don't put the deadlines on assignments. Another thing is that every outcome really just depends on us and its lowk like surprising but its not bad just makes us be more responsible and it makes us manage our time better.

In class, I shared how it's kind of hard to get to use to the fact that everyone in college are older adults I was like "damn everyone old" and not really a teenager like I am right now. This also makes it harder to make friends since most people are doing their own things or are much more mature than I am. So, I stick to my friend group until someone new comes around I'll get close to them.

In class, I shared with my classmates about the weight of college. The fact that there's so much to do but so little time, especially if you want to go to medical school. There are so many qualifications and requirements that I don't know if I'll have the time to complete them all on top of school. I don't have many friends my age since I'm taking my second year classes, but it's still nice to be able to relate with them in some way!

In class, we shared how the homework is not always talked about in class, and because of that, it makes completing the assignments harder to do, since we're not sure how the assignment is meant to be completed. I agree with this as I had one of my professors do this and it's annoying since i'm trying to do the work but i'm not sure how it's meant to be submitted. While sharing with the class, I learned that my other classmates mentioned that making new friends is a struggle and I completely agree with that because everyone is focused on school and sometimes work that they don't make time to make new friends.
