Doesn't everyone wish the world was peaceful and without violence? Reality check. Well, unfortunately, the world doesn’t work like that. Do you think guns make people safer? I believe they do.

Guns protect individuals from violence. For example, if someone were to break into your home, you are able to protect yourself if the criminal has a weapon and they attempt to harm you. "Americans have the right and advantage of being armed unlike the citizens of other countries who's government are afraid to trust the people with armed weapons." That quote was from our 4th president and father of the constitution, James Madison.

When you look around, who helps and makes sure, that you feel safe in this country? The United States Military and Police Enforcement makes you feel safe- right? Don’t they use guns to protect us from terrorists and criminals?

In conclusion, I believe guns DO indeed make people safer in various ways for various reasons as well. One major reason why guns make people safer are by protection from violence.

Persuasive Essay 2-Should teachers be able to carry concealed weapons on campus??

When you turn on the news, there is always stories about school shootings. Not every school is safe there is always a possibility your or your family members school can be next. What do you do? What if teachers can help protect you from someone trying to shoot at your school. I believe that teachers should be able to carry concealed weapons on campus.

On younger campuses, like prekinder centers and elementary schools, don’t have police officers on campus to protect the children and staff from when something bad happens, life or death h situations perhaps. Even on older campuses, Intermediate through college, there may be police Enforcement, but they won't always be there on time or even there at all.

Teachers will only/ initially need guns on campus for safety of the children, themselves and others on campus. Once or if they are allowed to bring the concealed weapons on campus, then they need to put it in a safe, secure place and make sure the clip isn't inside the gun, you know the basics. The teacher needs to also make sure that the students can't see it, you need to know where it is, not them.

Safety is key, not just in schools, everywhere. Not all campuses are able to have the cops to protect them, staff and teachers can't just let students get hurt under their supervision either. I think teachers should be able to have concealed weapons on campus. It's for the right reasons.

I believe that both of the authors used the rhetorical appeal Ethos, because they are receiving their
information from reports on the news and looking at laws that were put in place for gun control. In the
article “Children are dying because of…”, it states, “An average 1,297 children die (2 per 100,000) and
5,790 are treated for injuries caused by guns each year, one study reported.” From the article, “The
controversial law at the Heart…” it states, “The major problem with the stand your ground is that it exists
in Tandem with state laws that allow so many loaded guns to be carried around in public”, says Daniel
Vice, Senior attorney at the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence in Washington.” These quotes help
me prove my answer by showing that the information stated are from reports and statistics as well as
facts. Overall, I think that the author wants us to learn that the use of guns are dangerous , some uses
are accidental, some are purposeful, people take advantage of the instrument of death in negative ways

Love. What is love? The definition of love is an intense feeling of deep affection. But there are different meanings in other peoples eyes. There are songs that speak about love but is it really true? Is having intercourse actual love? Giving you a kiss, or hug or holding hands? Some people dont even think that love exist. There is a very thin line that seperates lust and love, you have to figure out which one is showed towards you.

Just having sex, or kissing and holding hands doesnt necessarily mean that you are being loved. Young adults, mainly teenagers and people in their early twenties, tend to confuse love and lust. Lust is "fake love" in my dictionary. Love is when someone actually cares and would do anything out of their way for someone. For example, when your family comes and visits you just to see you and spend time with you, rather than just to ask for something.. its love, in a sense.

The people that dont believe in love, doesnt mean that they are cold hearted and wanted to be isolated from the world. I believe that they are just very scared to actually try to fall in love, because they have been hurt before. Falling in love can mess with your head. The other partner or even both partners can just say things to you so that you can feel special. That doesnt happen in all situations but some of them happen like that. That would be an example of lust.

Love is a strong word, depends on how you see the word. Lust and love are two different things, but its always hard trying to figure out which one they show you.
