A former president of south africa, he fought against Apartheid, in defense of democracy and racial equality.
He was arrested as a terrorist in the country, was sentenced to life imprisonment and was imprisoned for 27 years (April 27, 1994 to June 16, 1999).
Is considered the most important leader of Black Africa, winner of the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, and father of the modern South African nation.

She said she was the first black woman to present several newspapers by name, so she went through a lot of prejudice. She says that in order to go through this she had to have extraordinary strength to become a renowned journalist and give strength to people who were also going through this so as not to give up after suffering racism.

Muhammad Ali (born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr). Was an American professional boxer, activist, entertainer and philanthropist. Nicknamed The Greatest, he is widely regarded as one of the most significant and celebrated figures of the 20th. At the age of 18 he won a gold metal on the Olympics.A few days later he tried to get some food at a restaurant, but was refused. Why? Because he was black! He became a Muslim after 1961. On March 6, 1964, he announced that he no longer would be known as Cassius Clay but as Muhammad Ali. In 1966, Ali refused to be drafted into the military, citing his religious beliefs and ethical opposition to the Vietnam War. He was found guilty of draft evasion so he faced 5 years in prison and was stripped of his boxing titles. He later disavowed the NOI, adhering to Sunni Islam, and supporting racial integration like his former mentor Malcom X.
