He's been interviewed in a kitchen, wearing a little suit. They've interviewed him in the kitchen because he cooks vegan food and they may have put him in the suit because people find him cute and funny, plus it'll be an interview to remember.
The cut aways used in this very from jump cuts, this could be because they may have had to reshoot about two or three time to get a satisfactory outcome. they may have had yo editing things out and move clips about, so using a jump cut or an L cut would have been the perfect way to blend it.

He's been interviewed at home while he's crocheting, i think he was being interviewed at home because that's where he produces most of his work. 
There are quite a few cutaways in this video, like in the beginning, when he's talking, there's a cut away to him crocheting while he's voice is still in the background. i think they've done this to give a visual representation of what he was talking about.
