The teachers are not only in class to teach children. Mentoring is a way a teacher encourages students to be the best

they can. This also includes encouraging students to enjoy learning. Part of mentoring consists of listening to students.

By taking time to listen to what students say, teachers help them build their confidence and want to be successful.

As Locke said, I believe that teacher has to stimolate students in the process of learning, keeping their attention and encouraging their creativity and imagination. In my opinion, all teachers should have a certain level of empathy to be able to understand their students' learning abilities and make the best out of them. If teachers lack this empathy, learning and teaching both become difficult and only bring frustration to both sides. Also, they can bring demoralization to the students and useless anger to the teacher. All this aspects are fundamental because the teaching environment lays its bases on human interaction, thus understanding each other and finding a middle ground is of great necessity.

in my opinion the professor must be strict, because in any case he is not a relative of ours, much less a friend of ours and therefore it is right that he is a Professors are not always so kind, but because they are figures who must command respect. I say this from my own experience during middle school, I had an Italian teacher who wasn't strict, she presented herself almost like a friend and it ended up that when she explained no one listened, there was a lot of chaos, no one respected her and I found this very disrespectful in the compared to that teacher who after that year went to teach in another school. Despite this, I believe that a bit of empathy is also important, I'm not saying making friends with the students, but rather being more open towards the students, being able to help us with certain decisions, all of this happens after a period of getting to know each other and a relationship of trust between the class and the teacher.
