One example of a plain in North America is the Arctic Coastal Plain, which is located in northern Canada. Another example is the Coastal plain, which is located along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Lakes are very common in North America. A lake is a body of fresh water that is completely surrounded by land. Some examples of lakes in North America are Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. Lake Michigan, as stated in the name, is located in Michigan, and borders Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. Lake Superior is located in Centeral North America. This lake is bordered by the east and north of Michigan, west of Wisconsin, the southwest of Illinois, and the southeast of Indiana.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Mountain ranges are a major physical feature in North America. A mountain range is a row of connected mountains. Two examples of mountain ranges in North America are the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachian Mountains. The Rocky Mountains stretch from the northernmost part of Western Canada, to New Mexico in the Southwestern United States. The Appalachian Mountains run through fifteen states. These states are Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. To be more specific, this mountain range is located along part of the north and south regions of North America.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Valleys</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A valley is a low area between ranges of mountains. There are various valleys in North America. Two of these valleys include Death Valley and the Great Appalachian Valley. Death Valley is located in California and is between the Amargosa Range on the east and the Panamint Range on the west. The Great Appalachian Mountains are located The Great Valley, also called the Great Appalachian Valley or Great Valley Region is a massive landform which, ironic because of name, is a significant feature of the Appalachian Mountains stretching from Georgia to Maine and beyond that point.</p>]]></description>
