         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. My first idea of an activity to identify solids, liquids, and gasses would be to have different centers that the students would be able to rotate through that have physical examples of the three different states of matter. <br><br>2. My second idea would be to connect the student's background knowledge to a picture book. This book would give definitions of the three states of matter while connecting it to student's background knowledge. <br><br>3. My third idea would be to have the kids take a trip around the school and conduct a scavenger hunt. The students would try to see how many examples of the three states of matter they could find. We would then compare as a class and see what state of matter is the most common. </div>]]></description>
