I liked the format of the presentations, it was nice to do something that was a bit shorter and fast paced, the environment also encouraged bit more feedback (although it was still not as much as it could have been from students). I thought it was a shame that the attendance was low, especially considering most people made the effort to put their posters up. In general, if we're supposed to rely on each others feedback as a co-hort, I think we all owe each other more effort, as it's how we grow our practice the most.

I enjoyed the space for the presentations, it felt relaxed and easy going as we were able to walk around, stand and sit between presentations which made it more interactive. I also liked that there was no space for technical issues as they were all printed! It was a bit noisy with people outside the course walking through but that is unavoidable

I thought the showcase went very well, specifically being able to see the work of our peers. On part of the co-hort, I feel like more of them could've showed up for the presentations especially the earlier ones. The layout of the showcase was cohesive and well panned out given the short amount of time given to plan for it. Having 5-minute presentations including feedback was exciting, and I feel like it kept the co-hort engaged

Having observed this show, I also think that we should begin planning for the showcase as early as possible, so everything is cohesive and the finished to a high standard. Perhaps setting up a small team to act as as the showcase planners/executors so that the outcome can be focused and get done in time. Setting up an extra call or two with the whole class at certain points of the term to make sure everyone is on the same page and is having their needs met in regards to the showcase would also be good.

The tutors were very encouraging when it came to public speaking and giving feedback - however feedback from the co-hort could use some work (as someone else already mentioned)

I had higher expectations, only 10 people showed up by my time, It felt like any other presentation. However, it was a slightly nicer change presenting outside of class, and the tutors were encouraging us to speak from our hearts instead of a prepared speech

I also wanted to add - thank you to Faisal for setting up the space with names and organising the labels - you are the reason the show turned out well. Also thank you to the tutors, the quality of feedback was good, although it became more extensive as time went on, which would have been nice to also receive if presenting in the beginning

I thought this was a weird time to have the showcase. We had just presented this exact same thing two weeks prior, so it felt repetitive. The feedback you got on your topic (besides about how you presented) couldn't be implemented because the unit is over. Attendance was low because we had just done the hand in and a lot of people wanted to move on to develop their FMP topic. Maybe this should have been during the actual unit, with more advance notice given that it was happening.

It was a simple exhibition, but it was good as a practice before the FMP exhibition. Since I had to present in a conversational format without relying on a screen, I was able to practice how to convey my work intentions more concisely.
However, it was regrettable that the other students went home after lunch yesterday, probably because they had already seen the almost finished works of others at the last WIP show.

It was great chance to engage as a cohort. The atmosphere was encouraging and inclusive. It was chance to learn how to give feedback on the missing point of the project/presentation. It was hard for me to understand everyone's project and the rationale behind it at once, and I would like to improve more on giving a constructive feedback. For the 3 image selection, it was good practice to show the project diversely yet cohesively.

Although the purpose of the wip show was to learn, and the audience were only us, it would be great to make a exhibition title/ description so that passerby could know what's happening at that space. Couldn't avoid the noise from school open day event, but it would be better to print out some 'Presentation in progress' announcement so that we can mitigate unexpected noise.
