My idea is to do a “book tree” where each participating student will be presented with a 5in x 7in sheet of green paper in the shape of a leaf. On this paper the students will recommend their favorite book or whatever book they're currently reading, including a short summary of the book’s plot. The students can either draw a picture that represents the book or they can search for an image of the book's cover, print, and paste it to the leaf beside their book description.

Collaboration with teachers and school administrative staff is another key role of the LMS. Consider the following two scenarios:

Some ideas that the students may find interesting could be; County water plant (this will help the students realize how much garbage and waste is contaminating water, explaining that tax dollars are used to keep tap water at safe drinking and bathing levels, thus educating the students on the importance of clean water), A local beach for a community clean up day, a national park (to show the students about the wildlife, giving them the opportunity to learn about our ecosystem and which animals serve as assistants to keeping the environment healthy/functioning, as well as why we need to help the animals stay alive, fight extinction, and do their jobs by keeping their homes clean just as they do for us. (For example, the importance of honeybees on the botanical population).
