As we can see the alphabet, students are writing words and drawing pictures that start with the letter it is under. This is a great reference tool for students to use as they are working on their writing skills. This also allows students to make the classroom their own. by allowing them to consistently learn and displaying it, students are able to feel valued, a sense of belonging and that it is their classroom.

Students would be assigned a certain spot on the carpet. These can also be changed within a certain time frame to allow students to make new friends. This blog provides many unique seating arrangements. To make sit spots, they can be ordered on amazon, finding a material (such as felt from the dollar store) and cutting out circles and placing them in the classroom.
