No fallacy found. But try to adjust the wording on the possible either/or fallacy in the conclusion. Also be careful of using slippery slope or hasty generalization as the style of writing and topic could make you prone to doing so.

Possible fallacies:

  • Suspicious bruises on children mean there is some form of abuse in their household.
  • All children who experienced corporal punishment become violent.
  • Because of its negative effects on children, all parents who use corporal punishment on their children intend to abuse them.

Children are forced to work for the sole reason of survival.

We can’t fully blame the parents/children for their choices, after all in the end the income is also for the well-being of the child.

Firstly, to do this, we should change the minimum age of working because contrary to popular belief, child labor is not mostly based on the child’s age and doing this will allow more children to work freely, so more income earned by children and their families.

The Philippines isn’t able to reach their fertility goals because of the lack of knowledge and accessibility to family planning services and of already available contraceptives, especially to the poor.

One of the evidence included in the essay is a quote that says lack of information and family planning are related to one’s failure to reach  fertility goals. Based on this, she wrote the above sentence, but the research only said that the absence of these things is related to the issue. It did not explicitly say that it is the cause.

To improve this, she can say that it may be a cause for this issue or that it may contribute but not directly cause it. When paraphrasing, do not use words that might change the idea being conveyed by the research. In this case, it is possible that what the person meant by related is that it is the cause, but we are also not sure if he means something else.

By using this type of wording, the audience or reader may assume that the primary cause of poverty is teenage pregnancies— which is false. I suggest you work on your wording to make it something such as stating that it is a factor to the cycle of poverty instead of saying it is the cause.
