         <description><![CDATA[<div>Digital storytelling is an important part of teaching and learning because it engages the student. If the student is the creator it gives them needed 21st century skills and potentially allows them to look at a situation from a different perspective. If the teacher is the creator it gives them a new and interesting way to present material.</div>]]></description>
