From reading this article and examining the models of Ed Tech, it is clear that educators need to familiarize themselves with the proper technology to implement in the classroom. In order to be effective, the teacher has to have a clear objective or goal for utilizing that technology in instruction. When implementing technology it is important to keep in mind Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory. All students do not learn the same way. Therefore one educational technology theory does not work for all students. This is why educators need to apply different theories to instruction. For example , the Diffusion of Innovation theories specifies that it is imperative to to understand the trainees receiving capacities of new technologies in order to educate more effectively. Additionally understanding how this is part of our students culture and that it is necessary to implement technology that relates to their world.
