    • I beleave, in this scenario, the is the pay the ramson and hope the hackers comply his word.

    • What should the school do now?
    In Portugal we say: "after stolen house, locks on the door". So, the school should take the security measures that didn't have taken before.

    • What should you do to prevent this happening in your school?
    All users must be register on his network, and the network must be divided in sectors of users, each one separated from the others and with the right protection. The system must be capable of making automatic daily backups.

    • What would you say to the media?
    I think the school should talk with the media about the incident and, at the same, communicate the security measures taken.
