The text was talking about one of the oldest rock formations on earth. The text was talking about how theirs a belt named Nuvvuagittuq Greenstone Belt. This Belt is one of the old rock formations. It states in the text how it got weathered away. It was covered by a lot of layers of rocks. It was under the earth from that point. Then it took billions of years until the rocks above was weathered away from the wind. Then the Belt was back. They say that this is why it's one of the oldest rock formations and how it's flattened now from the weather. They say that the Belt got turned into a Metaphoric rock when it was layered by the earth's crust.

The article in Amplify talks about the oldest group of rock formations. This formation is called the "Nuvvuagittuq
Greenstone Belt"! This belt is estimated to be 3.8-4.3 billion years old and is made up of igneous and sedimentary rocks. But now consist of metamorphic rocks. The Greenstone belt has also shifted underneath our earth and back to the earth's surface layer this is the cause of the subduction and uplifts. This results in the now-in-age Greenstone Belt being flat due to the earth weathering it down!

The article within the Amplify website spoke about the "Nuvvuagittuq Greenstone Belt" which is one of the oldest rock formations that the article is about. This rock formation is located in the northwestern part of the Province of Canada, Quebec. The age of this rock formation is said to be between 3.8 to 4.3 billion years old. What is crazy about the age of this rock formation, is that it is almost as old as Earth itself. The rock within this rock formation has stayed intact. It is said in the Amplify article that this rock formation had risen up from underground. This is due to subduction and uplift. When tectonic plates either go underneath or above one another. So, most likely the plate that the Nuvvuagittuq Greenstone Belt lies on went through an uplift process.

This rock formation is a large group of rock formations located in Quebec, Canada. The Greenstone Belt is estimated to be around from 3.8 to 4.3 billion years old. This rock formation first formed the Earth, it was made up of sedimentary and igneous rocks. Nowadays, it's made up of metamorphic rocks. The Belt is predicted to have been buried deep underground in the past, as it is thought to have been through the processes of subduction and uplift. Which allowed it to move deep underground, and then move back up to the surface.
