Natural selection is the process whereby organisms in a population have traits that let them survive in a specific environment. Those traits may no longer be helpful when the environment changes. This happens with natural selection.
Example #1- If rainfall increases over time, the wetland where these birds live may become deeper. Birds with long legs may find food easily. Birds with short legs may not find food. More long-legged birds may survive and reproduce making the long-legged trait more common in the population.
Example #2- In a habitat there are red bugs and green bugs. The birds prefer the taste of red bugs so soon there are many green bugs and few bugs. The green bugs reproduce and make more green bugs and eventually there are no more red bugs (Fusion Book).

Redako, James. Bird Evolution.

Negative effects on the internment can include deforestation over harvesting and more. Humans every year provide billions of pounds of commercial fish from the ocean. Such as tuna, cod, shellfish, crabs, and lobsters. In 1990 in metric tons there were 400 metric tons of cod but in 2010 it was roughly 20 metric tons.
Deforestation, clearing forests can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and a host of problems for indigenous people (Fusion Book).

Kird, Werd. Tree On Ground Yeet.

Global warming is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and its oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently changing the Earth's climate. The greenhouse effect is the warming that happens when certain gases in Earth's atmosphere trap heat. These gases let in light but keep heat from escaping, like the glass walls of a greenhouse, hence the name. Scientists have known about the greenhouse effect since 1824 whe Joseph Fourier calculated the Earth would be much colder if it had no atmosphere. This natural greenhouse effect is what keeps the Earth's climate livable.

Richards, Cory, and Michael Melford. “What Is Global Warming?” National Geographic, National Geographic, 22 Jan. 2019, www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/global-warming/global-warming-overview/.

Aniketh. Glaciers.
