Fisheries are away from high population to have the ability to export more fish instead of consuming it. Fishing techniques in fisheries need a lot of space so they go to areas with low boat traffic to avoid issues with others.</div>]]></description>

The people who will most likely buy the fish are in the areas of higher population and consumption so the fisheries are located closer to these areas for easier access. Due to the great amount of seafood readily available, coastal regions are able to expand both economically due to sales and by population because of readily available food</div><div>Regions with greatest amounts of fisheries have highest amount of seafood consumption. Populations located on the coast have much better access to fresh seafood, eat more seafood,and expand in population.</div><div>Fisheries provide millions of jobs. People who need jobs are attracted to coastal regions to find work which increases the population of coastal regions.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
