1: It is a significant moment where Jonas sees colours for the very first time and realise something unusual. It is one very important quality a receiver of memory must have and this is the moment Jonas sees it but still does not know what it is for. By adding this moment into our trailer, it can act as a comparison for the later scenes of Jonas's feelings when Jonas releases his ability and therefore enhance the viewer's understanding of Jonas, making them want to find out more about him and why his view of did he want the others to also have the memories . This will attract viewers to watch the movie.
2: Firstly, the chief elder skipped Jonas and everyone realised it, the mistake was very obvious, everyone noticed it. This will make the viewers feel curious about what has happened and how will the they will resolve it. 7.We learn that the Release would usually happens to underdeveloped infants, the elders and anyone who broke the Rules 3 or more times. When Jonas was shown an example of the release, he could not handle the morbidity of such an action and the pain induced afterwards. At this point, the reader now understand of how feelings have started to cause an impact in Jonas' life as the new Receiver of memories.
10.We learn that the planes in Jonas community uses heat searching planes to search for people missing. Although Jones has brought Gabriel away from the community, he is still not safe as they might still find them and bring them back. When they have not enough food, memories are used to keep them from starving and memories of cold to not be found by the plane. Jonas: [fidgety, think] Good thing that assignment has been taken! But what would mine be? What if it's one that I do not like? What if I'm not even assigned with one? What if..?

Cheif Elderly:Eighteen, Fiona, congratulations, you are given the Assignment of Caretaker of the Old. Thank you for your childhood
