The animal can over hear because a small body has a relatively large surface area compared to its overall size. Because heat is lost from the surface of the body, small mammals lose a greater proportion of their body heat than large mammals. Mammals conserve body heat with their hair or fur. It traps a layer of warm air next to the skin

How Heat explains how small or big an animal can be is that heat is limited to animals which means there is a limit in temperature that that animal has to be in. The heat has to be the perfect temperature for an animal to survive. And animals won't grow they can stay small if they aren't in the limit. My first piece of evidence to support this is from the article which the article states, "Heat limits small mammals. too. The smallest animals cannot get smaller than about 1.8 grams (0.06 ounces). This is about as heavy as a penny." My Last piece of evidence to wrap up my whole statement is "Tiny mammals cannot keep enough heat in. They constantly lose heat to the air. Keeping up their body temperature requires a lot of energy. "When you start getting sizes that small, you have to continually eat to be able to feed your body," Smith said." - Arely

the evidence that I have from NewsELA us that Smith said mammals could get as large as 109 metric tons. That is 120 tons. This is a bit larger than a 737 airplane. But there is no use in being that massive. The animal's legs would be gigantic. They could support its body. But the animal would not be able to move, she said.

but Heat limits small mammals, too. The smallest animals cannot get smaller than about 1.8 grams. That is 0.06 ounces.

The stuff i learn is the how the animal can over because it say that if the tempter gets to high the animal go like it can get to hot or the text say that Mammals are endotherms This means they have to keep their bodies at a constant warm temperature. They digest food. This generates energy. It helps them stay warm also if the mammal gets too hot, it will die So, it has to release that extra heat this is what i know.
