The land artist and textile artist Hannah Streefkerk was educated in the Netherlands and currently lives and works in Sweden.

From Streefkerk's works, we feel the various aspects of nature never stop amazing, surprising, and arousing curiosity. She invites audiences to explore nature with her. Her works can be seen as a visual metaphor for our shared responsibility to protect nature and reduce our impact on the environment. At the same time, they encourage us to think about our natural environment. Pay attention to things, and occasionally stop. The fact that time and everything are temporary is a common point in the environment and in everyone's life. Lush green leaves in the summer turn into autumn leaves, and the autumn leaves become the nutrient source for the growing season the following year.

Through her interventions in nature itself, forests, fields, and riverbanks, as well as her sculptures inspired by natural elements, Hannah Streefkerk delicately shows the passage of time, growth, and decay, and the continuity and cyclicality of life. She uses traditional crochet knitting and embroidery techniques to explore the fragility of nature, as a lover of nature who takes care of it, she sews torn bark together, repairs holes in leaves, and crochets a protective cover for stones, all of which are affected by the erosion of time and natural processes. Streefkerk strives humorously and earnestly in her works to protect, restore, and preserve nature, while also embracing and celebrating these processes through her installations. The theme of a love for autumn and transformation can be seen; nature is renewed by the destructive power of winter, with leaves falling to establish new homes on the forest floor. Through her works, Streefkerk observes natural phenomena and transforms them into her own unmistakable artistic language in an interesting way. She finds inspiration in the formation of bark and rock moss and lichen, as well as how fungi cause abnormal growth on trees, such as obvious thorns and brush-like protrusions.

I made my paper airplane smaller so it could fly farther, and I made it lighter, too. I thought that'd make it look better. The smaller fuselage meant it didn't fly as far, but it sure was stable in the air. The fuselage didn't wobble, but it wasn't as good as the ones with bigger wings in height and how far it could fly.

Critical thinking

Critical thinking is actually a very useful way to think. It's not about pointing out faults or saying no to others, but about learning to solve problems with a smarter and more open attitude. When we come across information or ideas, critical thinking helps us tell the difference between what's true and what's not, and it helps us decide what's important. In other words, critical thinking makes us better at thinking for ourselves and making sense of things.Critical thinking requires time to develop and a certain amount of knowledge base.

It is important to actively cultivate the habit of critical thinking. With critical thinking, we can better process information and solve problems. Critical thinking is like a skill that helps you take a closer look at information, use good sense, and check things out to figure out if they're really true or not. With so much info out there, it's really crucial to work on this kind of thinking. It keeps your head clear and helps you make smarter choices.

I believe that critical thinking requires a lot of time to learn and practice, and it can be improved through reflection.

The documentary "The Truth About Fast Fashion" on YouTube is very enlightening. First, it exposes the terrible working conditions of the workers. Second, it emphasizes the severe environmental destruction. Furthermore, it makes me realize that our pursuit of cheap fashion comes at a cost. However, it also gives us hope that if we are more aware and make more intelligent choices, we can bring about change. In summary, In short, before watching this video, I had never considered that my clothes could burden the environment, but this has given me a new perspective on fashion and taught me to view the issue of fast fashion from a different angle.
