The above video link is a video of myself walking through Finns Reserve in Lower Templestowe, walking over the bridge, and visually able to see the Yarra River.
I can see the blue skies, the clouds, the green grass, the greenery on the trees, hearing the birds chirping, water flowing, trees falling, the bridge creaking, down the river, the grass moving. As I am walking through the reserve I can feel the damp grass, from the cold morning earlier on, feel the hard concrete and the timber pieces of wood as I'm taking further steps

As an educator myself, I can see the way that music, movement, drama affects a child’s overall impact on a child and their development, especially through play. Nature creates a beautiful place where children can learn to let go and be free, they can learn to let go and be free and learn how to express themselves through words, sounds and rhythm. Recording my artefact and recording my poem really made me connect to Dadirri, as this exercise really made me feel “whole again,”it allows me to listen and find “peace through silent awareness”, (Ungunmerr-Bauman, 2023). It really made me feel more aware and realise the sounds that occur around me. Music, movement and drama are all important aspects as they can all be used in different ways. In given time we learn how children are able to learn, understand and respond. Things like clapping, moving the body, stomping feet which are all movements that I use in my everyday work life is an indidcator that children are starting to love music. Creating an environment where music, movement and drama is extremely important in early childhood. It allows children to learn and connect to what they are hearing to what they are learning.
