After my father passed away, my family immigrated to the United States. I was thirteen years old when I came to this country.

I proudly earned my AA-T degree from San Jose City College in 2021. Because of the pandemic, I celebrated my graduation ceremony virtually, marking a special milestone in a unique way.

I’ve been working with kids since I was eighteen. My first job was as a Teacher Assistant in a YMCA after-school program. Later, I worked as an assistant in a preschool classroom, which deepened my passion for early childhood education. In 2017, I decided to pursue higher education. While attending college, I earned my license as a Behavioral Technician and provided ABA therapy for children with Autism.

After graduating from college, I worked as a Preschool Teacher at a nonprofit organization for two years. Now, I’m continuing my academic journey by pursuing a B.A. in Human Development, with the intention of expanding my skills and making a greater impact in children’s lives.
