I have become a depraved demon’s prey. 

I have nowhere to go, I am lost, 

Guess what this brawl will cost? 

My eyes are open, but all I see is darkness,

I guess that demon is truly heartless. 

He sits in my mind all day long, 

And sings a dull, forlorn song. 

His wits have mastered over me, 

Long gone are the days when I was carefree. 

Is there a way to break free from this cage? 

Will there ever be an end to this page?

My life is like a dreadful dream, 

This story could not have a better theme. 

This demon is unforgiving, harsh and rude, 

Whatever I do, he cannot be shooed. 

I feel like there is no one for me,

I am trapped in my mind’s cage, one without a key.

I stand on the edge, ready to end this once and for all,

This demon has led me to my downfall.

I scan the world before I take the dive, 

This is the end to the long test drive.

Then I look at the sky, so peaceful everytime,

And I decide to fight this one more time.
