I researched this topic heavily and have found credible resources such as articles that I used for my evidence in my body paragraphs. It was fairly easy to find several articles on this topic because it is very controversial on the media as of right now. I organized this outline by using the cause-and-effect order in my body paragraphs. I used credible sources such as several different articles by well-known news brands like CNN or NBC News. I engaged the audience with my hook sentence. I believe if the consumers know what truly happens behind the scenes of these companies, they will stop buying their products. I built credibility and engagement with my audience by using pathos to appeal to their emotions. I collaborated with my mom to peer edit this outline. She has revised and edited it. Specific feedback that was helpful in the revision process was to have more specific evidence in my body paragraphs. I incorporated tone into this outline by making these consumers who are buying products from factories with these labored workers feel guilty. I found this outline to be written easier as a speech because you can have several reasons to talk about and I think the writing just flows better. What I might do differently for next time would be to include more key point specific quotes in to my body paragraphs. The in sights that I learned from doing research about this topic is that large company owners usually do not treat their employees well and they should receive major consequences for exploiting their workers.
