The civil society organization Proaktiv was registered in February 2010. Ten experienced CSO activists with over 65 years of experience working in the CSO sector, especially in youth programming, decided to establish Proaktiv.

The PROAKTIV team was founded because it believes in the future of a professionalized OCD sector that is part of citizenship, in touch with real problems and needs of people in local communities, and ready to professionally and responsibly approach solving these problems.

The goals of the PROAKTIV association are:
