I think one benefit is that it helps the earth. We can re-use old items and make something beautiful out of them. We save materials from going into landfills.
2. Another benefit, it saves us money! If we can make something instead of buying a new item we can save money for other things such as gas.
3. My third benefit is we could possibly support a local business that upcycles items and sells them.
4. My fourth benefit is we could develop new craft skills and or begin a new hobby to help relieve stress.
5. 2. Upcycling also saves energy as the energy needed to make the finished product is no longer used to make it.
3. With upcycling, water and air pollution are minimalized since the production process and the pollution it creates doesn't happen.
4. Upcycling helps in decreasing the number of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which means that it helps in reducing the effects of climate change.
5. The economy also benefits as the production costs are no longer needed with upcycling.
