I see myself exerting more confidence in my ability to read, write, listen and communicate information to others. I feel that I have allowed myself to become more comfortable. As a child and young person in school, I never felt this way. I felt shy and scared to participate in learning experiences. I was in control of everything that I read and wrote and did. I didn't have people telling me I couldn't do it or I wasn't good enough for it.

My education has completely shifted my identity. English is my second language and i didn’t really learn it until I started to attend college. I started speaking it shortly before. My likes, my abilities, my culture it’s conpletly transformed.
