The Munich Agreement

Adolf Hitler wanted to unite all German speakers into a "Greater Germany". British politicians thought that Germany was grieving having to go through the Treaty of Versailles which had left many people in Germany under control of other countries. People saw Hitler as a chance to be safe against the Soviet Expansion. In 1938 Hitler met British Prime Minster, French Premier, and the Italian dictator which all made the Munuch Agreement which Hitler later broke and took back Czechoslovakia.

Germany attacks Poland

Germany and the Soviet Union wanted to divide up Eastern Europe, they plan to target Poland first. Hitler sent the German army to attack Poland on September 1, 1939. Two days after the attack on Poland Britain and France declared war on Germany and that's when World War 2 began.

Germany invades France

Germany forces invaded Denmark and Norway which brought down chamberlains government, and was replaced by prime minister, Winston Churchill. Germany then invaded France and German forces took over Paris.
