I have set a lot for this term as I have performed badly in the previous one. At the start of this term I have prioritize my goals first than others. These goals were to achieve a higher and better standing compared last term and to OVERALL improve my performance in math. Personally I don't like seeing myself underperform because I know that I can do so much better if only I tried my best into it.

MEASURABLE:

To be able to check on how I'm doing in math is by constantly checking my standing. And if I need to get a higher score I check the areas I need to improve on. This term I realized how heavy homeworks really are. A few of my classmates missed some of them and are now barely passing. Knowing this made me scared but that just made more aware to not miss any single assessment. Computing my grade helps me by a lot since it acts like a wake up call for me to do something. All though with that said, I also try my best to get the highest score I can get in all of the assessment. And for the past few long tests, I saw that most of my mistakes were all carelessness.

ATTAINABLE:

In each term I like to think to myself that all of my goals are possible as long as I try. Everyone is giving it their all so why not I give my all as well. When I say everyone I also mean my teacher, making it more possible for me to complete my goals. Everything is already set for me and all I have to do is listen and answer. With what I'm doing for this term I can say that it really is possible for me to achieve these goals of mine.

RELEVANT:

In all of the terms I get I always consider my goals as important aspects that can improve my performance. I will continue all of these as I grow up. The determination I put in all of my works are worth it as it does not improve my work ethic but improves me as a whole. I have come a long way to get where I'm at right now. My progress is what makes it important for me to keep on moving forward.

TIME-BOUND:

For each term, the only time that I have is about 2 to 3 months. Realistically, this is all the time I have to complete my goals. But it is more than enough time for me to improve and complete my goals and to set new goals for myself.

I asked guidance from a classmate to understand their approach, and they explained that I should multiply it by the divisor and then subtract it from the coefficient, continuing this process. Finally understanding this concept made me realize that sometimes the answer to my question is right in front of me. I have a tendency to unnecessarily expand questions that don't require it. After this clarification, synthetic division became crystal clear for me, and I discovered it was actually easier than I initially thought.

SPECIFIC:

This term felt somewhat more manageable compared to others, yet the value of my goals remains significant. While I can claim most of my set goals for this term have been achieved, some still remain as aspirations. I aim to accomplish these remaining goals in the next term alongside the new ones I will set.

MEASURABLE:

The goal of 'achieving a higher standing' has been met, evident in improved grades compared to last term. I also find myself performing better in discussions, securing good scores without the need for extensive review. I am more confident in my abilities, realizing that I can accomplish tasks independently.

ATTAINABLE:

Reflecting on my performance in the past few weeks, I was confident that my set goals would be accomplished. The determination and commitment I put into this term for self-improvement demonstrate the successful achievement of my S.M.A.R.T goals.

RELEVANT:

While most of my goals are completed, I recognize the need to carry some forward into the next term. I consider all my goals important, viewing it as my responsibility to fulfill them and complete what I started. Viewing my S.M.A.R.T goals as a constant reminder to improve has been crucial in my continuous progression. I understand that there is always room for improvement, and it remains my goal to consistently be in that space.

TIME-BOUND:

Over the past 2-3 months, I observe myself completing this e-portfolio and affirming the successful achievement of my goals. Despite occasional lapses in consistency, I made a concerted effort to bounce back and never lose sight of my progress. This commitment made it possible for me to fulfill all my goals for this term.
