For expectations of this class, I simply want a better understanding of the local and world government around me as I don't really know anything about civics as a whole. I was never really interested in politics or the economy but I would like to know more about all of it and I'm hoping this class gives me a better basis of the topic. I also want to see how this applies to the outside world and also impacts my daily life and I.
As previously stated I was never that eager about learning everything and anything about it. So I suppose interest is at like a 1 or 2 out of 5; however, throughout the course, I would like that number to increase. Overall, I think it's very important to have some knowledge within the topic, but I don't find myself watching the news or making it a priority to know about everything.

I found it incredibly interesting that two people from very different backgrounds were able to both work together and overall see each other everyday, as they were appointed by people of difference political views. I wished they talked more about their personal lives and their upbringing because I'm not well versed in any supreme court justices and as of today couldn't have named a single one.

My favorite part of the Declaration are the grievances as it gave the colonies 27 reason to leave. I preferred hearing it as it gives the document more life, meaning and passion when one actually hears it out loud.
