First article I brought up was interesting to read and appeared to have some link to my pedagogical challenge(pc) but the article had nil citations attributed to it. It was published in 2014. Would this be viewed as a criteria not to use the article?

I looked at second language acquisition PC and it came up with lots of challenges which made me think I should narrow my research some how? I also looked at ESOL pc and they were lots of prior research too one of which captured my attention and start my reflection and that the barriers of listening skills many times I noticed the learners struggling with the speaker speed and the accent .The article was published in 2oo5 by Yiching Chen. I am not sure, still looking.
Nadia ( you might guessed)

I'm looking into behaviour management at the moment. There is one student in my class who often struggles to engage in the lesson, behave appropriately or communicate with the group/staff. She is in the same class as some who are a lot more able academically and socially. This can often be PC as her social/emotional level can limit her progression. It is often seen as learnt behaviours that she has to get a response from staff. Not sure where im going to go with this.... but im looking. I want to look at promting positive behaviours increasing her independence towards work. Does this sound like something to go with? I began looking at differentiation however im trying to look down a different route as I talked a lot about differentiation in assignments last year :/

Hey everyone . .sorry my post is sorta late . . .I liked this attachement, (perhaps not too relevant on what we were asked to do - sorry Deboroah), but it resonated with me, specifically in consideration of an ever-changing enviroment relating to teaching . . .let me know what you think? . .I'm not saying I agree with everything, but . . . . . .click once only, on the .pdf bit on the file and it should open - its referenced too, although not by anyone I've come across recently - it really was the content of the article that I found interesting.

Hi all, well I was thinking that it could be a good pc i I restrict my research round '' How to develop listening skills in ESOL'' and this could be a very interesting area to find out more about.
