All of these words connect to this unit because of there nature and how horror books are writen and play with the reader. With convention, most horror books and movies use the same kinds of polt structure. By this, it makes it a convention among this genre. With most horror books, the reader trys to predict the ending like any other book. The writers know the psycology and nature of the human brain, so they toy with your brain, making it think it knows whats going on, but is wrong. There is a certian technique with horror books, when it encoreges the reader to try and predict the ending, but creates a different story different from your perdiction. And then a summery is inportant because it is what causes you to know what happend after you are done reading the book. It alows you to group the story together.

Convention (noun)
Predict (verb)
Psycology (noun)
Summary (noun)
Technique (noun)

All five words fit into the theme title because they all could be factors into a good horror movie or film. They also all connect because they are a horror movie broken down into pieces, each part is needed in order to pull together the perfect horror movie. Psychology(Noun) Psychology is how people react to certain stuff. SO if something contains the parts the reflect fear, that is what you will get from psychology. Convention (Noun) Conventions of horror can reflect fear on people. Also if one movie maker uses one technique, then you'll probably see another movie like it within a year because of the convention.
Predict(verb) Connects because you can set up something to make people predict something will happen then totally switch it up, that is a big factor with horror movies. Summary(Noun) Summaries are good because some people don't like stuff dragged up but rather in a nutshell, in horror movies especially.
Technique(Noun) Movie makers use techniques to make people be more scared of their movies.

I think the word predict relates to the unit of horror because people tend to predict what will happen, especially with horror. Technique connects since horror is a way of writing, or a writing technique. That suspense and psychological fear it creates are techniques of the horror genre. Summaries are connected since they are always needed for the stories. The conventions are the suspense and the horror itself, and psychology plays a big part in the horror genre. A lot of that fear comes from the mind; a lot of it is psychological. Predict (v) means to make a guess. Technique (n) is the way something is done. Summary (n) is a shorter version of something, usually a story. Conventions (n) are guidelines for something, like writing. Psychology (n) is the study of the brain.

All of these words fit into the genre of horror because you need to be able to make your audience to actively predict whats going to happen in the story while having a good enough plot that people can easily summarize the story. To do that you would have to follow a certain convention and have a good technique.
