In traditional Chinese culture, a comb carries rich symbolic meaning. It represents combing away worries and wishing for a smooth and fortunate life. It is also associated with lifelong love through the tradition of jie fa (binding one's hair together), making it a meaningful gift between couples or for weddings.

Double Happiness, traditionally written as the Chinese character 囍, literally means "double joy" or "double happiness."  The character 囍 has since become a traditional symbol of marriage, signifying the joyful union of a bride and groom and the shared happiness and good fortune it brings to both families.

Two Dragons Playing with a Pearl is a traditional Chinese auspicious motif depicting two dragons facing each other while playing with or pursuing a flaming pearl. The design symbolizes good fortune, prosperity, abundant harvests, and happiness, and expresses people's aspirations for peace, harmony, and a prosperous life.

Shouxing (literally "Star of Longevity") is the Chinese god of longevity in traditional Chinese culture. He originated from ancient Chinese star worship and is identified with Canopus(Alpha Carinae) in astronomy. In Chinese folklore, he is typically depicted as a benevolent elderly man with a prominent forehead, carrying a staff and holding a peach of immortality, symbolizing health and long life. Today, the term Shouxing is also commonly used to refer to the person celebrating their birthday.

Confucius was revered by later generations as the "Ultimate Sage and First Teacher." The gesture of clasping the hands with all ten fingers interlocked may also be interpreted as "Jiaowu" ("the meeting of the five"), symbolizing the harmonious interaction of the Five Elements and the complementary forces of yin and yang between Heaven and Earth, in the hope of achieving harmony among all things.

Apple: In Chinese, the word for "apple" (píngguǒ, 苹果) shares the character "píng" (平) with the word for peace and safety (píng'ān, 平安).

"福" (Fú): The Chinese character "福" (Fú) means blessing, good fortune, happiness, and prosperity.

Chinese Knot: The traditional Chinese knot symbolizes reunion, harmony, good fortune, happiness, and enduring relationships.

Our Lady is the Christ-bearer, the Mother of God.

When we actively meditate on God dwelling in us by His grace, we His children become just and peaceful as doves.

As we follow the Way of Christ the King and Truth, we will naturally nourish trust and friendship.

We then gain the highest form of happiness, which only occurs by union with God,

rejoicing in the new garden of paradise with the beautiful and fragrant blossoms of everlasting peace.

Finally, we recognize our need for help, so together we beg our Queen,

“Most pure Mother, pray for us!”

I hold dear a letter from Pope Francis on Nov. 27 2018, and a photo with him. My latest book MY Chinese Dream: Dialogues and Encounter with Christianity is dedicated to him. He said, there is an urgent need to work towards a culture of encounter. We must draw reciprocal richness of our civilizations to build a common future of harmony, with courage to proclaim the Gospel in order to reach the full and visible unity of the Catholic Community in China, to overcome divisions that caused sufferings. He encouraged me to promote dialogue on the paths of reconciliation and peace. He sent his blessings to me and to you all loved ones.
