The attack on Pearl Harbor is when the Japanese surprise attacked the US naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This surprise attack by the Japanese had about 350 aircrafts and would sink or damaged eighteen US naval vessels also killing 2,403 men damaged 188 aircrafts, four battle ships, and three destroyers. This attack was very important because it was what brough the USA into WW2.

The D-Day operation was an important event because it brought together the allied armies, land, air, and sea forces and became what is known as the largest amphibious invasion in the military history. This operation had the name OVERLORD because the forces were so powerful. This operation delivered five naval assault divisions to the beaches of Normandy. It was so significant that it led to France denying Germany forces any further exploitation of that country sources and power and would put the Allies on a path toward victory.
