In fact, students that drop out of high school or college dont make as much money as students that graduate.

First of all students that drop out of high school or college are bound to fail, according to U.S. department of education high school dropouts make only $19.540 a year and only $1,628 a month. That s not enough to pay mortgage or enough to pay for food. To pay for gas and a car with only $1,628 a month and $407 a week that is not house of apartment ready.Kids that get a 4 year college diploma get $46,930 a year and that is more than enough for what ever you need.High school drop out will most likely not get support by there parents.

High school students shouldn't drop out of high school because it might effect their lives in the future. According to the radio interview Missy Remiss says "those without a high school diploma have lower earnings, higher unemployment, lower job satisfaction and might end up in jail." There are 21 states plus the district of Columbia that already have laws requiring students to stay in school until they are 18 or until they graduate, but some of them still drop out. Forcing students to stay in school would make them want dropout.

While some argue that having kids stay in school longer is a waist of time, many may argue it can help generations with the future of their lives. According to the data from the US. Department of Education, those in 2009 with a four-year college degree made $46,930 yearly. This evidence clearly states how staying in school longer impact young adult's in their lives in a very positive way. Some more evidence from the same data states that High school dropouts only made $19,540 yearly. Dropping out shouldn't be done. I think most of us would like to see improvement instead of taking a step back. So requiring kids to learn longer for their life to be something they can enjoy, instead of worrying about financial issues is something that sounds like a great oppurtunity.

The debate is on. President Obama just announced in order for you to drop out you must be 18 years older. Many students are droping out, but with Obama's new law may students will not be able to dropout. There for many student will graduate from high school and hopefully continue in college.

Overall, risking sending young adults out in the world without the skills and proper education they need is scary. They need the knowledge, the diploma, and the skills to succeed. Our young adults can be prepared for future and enjoy their jobs all from learning. After reviewing multiple sources and looking at some data I believe keeping kids in classes for some more time will positively change their lives in a large way. "So why does this matter for me right now", you might be asking. It will help us improve, learn more, and grow into a better tomorrow.
