Also may refer directly to an individual’s fat levels.</div><div><br></div><div>-Low body weight can cause decreases in the rate of muscle development, negatively affecting physical development.</div><div>-High body weight can cause numerous health problems which may result in time spent in hospital, which can decrease learning opportunities at school and negatively impact intellectual development.</div><div><br></div><div>-Overweightness and obesity can result in low self-esteem, which can cause anxiety and depression, negatively impacting mental health.</div><div>-High body weight can cause numerous health issues such as high blood pressure and diabetes, both of which cause physical health to suffer.</div><div><br></div><div>Blood Pressure</div><div>-Blood pressure is the force of blood on the walls of the arteries. This can negatively affect social development as the individual will have less chances to interact and communicate with friends and family.</div><div><br></div><div>-Individuals with excess blood cholesterol may decide to make better food choices such such as less fatty and oily foods, which will benefit their overall physical health.</div><div>-High amounts of HDLs and low amounts of LDLs are the ideal cholesterol levels for optimum health.
