Cal has changed in many ways like he used to be a very shy kid that tried very hard to not mess up anything and he even got rid of Bear. I think he has really grown up and became more of a man by making choices and talking to a whole lot of new people.

People are very unfair to anyone that doesn't want to join the path or make the choice. The author is trying to make it seem like the path is such a terrible place but when Cal talks to Nathan Hill everything seems a lot more simple and easy. Cal is trying to get on the path just so that he can leave it again. I don't think that it is going to work because I think New York is ruined.

Cal makes a lot of scary action that gets him very hurt and almost kills him. He also finds a lot of rich new people that he becomes friends with and they help him out.

I like my character because he is dramatic. It might not even be dramatic fir him but for me it was just a stray dog and I wouldn't feel safe around one.

In Arizona Roa feels trapped because he wants to know where his family and all of the certain things that he needs to do to make sure that his brother doesn't get hurt. Then when he finds bear, he starts to like him because he plays but Quarall just wants to put him in a kennel like that rest of the dogs.
