He wanted to put an end to racial segregation in schools and to pass civil rights laws. Promoter of a great civil rights movement, Martin Luther King was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. On 4 April 1968 he was killed in Memphis. His figure still inspires civil rights activists.</div>]]></description>

Drawing inspiration from this event, the wrote “Le Racisme expliqué à ma fille”, a book published in 1998 and translated into more than 25 languages.</div>]]></description>
